Staff were friendly and helpful getting up the 2 flights of stairs. Easy check in. Bath was across hall but we managed. Staff helped with arranging taxis. Large lounge area with full kitchen and nice sitting area to relax after a day of walking.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel! It is in the perfect location in Sestri Levante with several restaurants, bars and the beach within a 5 minute walk. The staff are wonderful, the breakfast is delicious, the rooms were very clean. I would absolutely go back to Sestri Levante just to stay at this hotel!
We have just returned from a 2 weeks break at the Grand Villa Balbi and enjoyed every minute. The hotel is ideally located for restaurants, shops, ferries and rail. All the staff we met were efficient and friendly always doing their best to help. Would definitely stay there again if we were visiting that area.
This is one of the most breath taking hotels I've ever stayed in. The reception and common areas were wonderfully furnished, with lots of little seating nooks throughout the hotel. the pool was great and the pool area was a nice place to relax.
Had a lovely stay here - staff were v friendly. ||Hotel was beautiful, very ornate and felt v grande. Breakfast was lovely in beautiful setting. Set right on the seafront with cafes and restaurants v close by.
To stay at Villa Balbi is to be a part of living history. It’s wonderful! Architecture, furniture, paintings, sculptures. It’s incredible! You feel you are Ligurian aristocracy for just a few days of your life. Such a treat!
Very nice building, great staff, great breakfast location in the garden, quiet at night, everything within walking distance (e.g.train station 10 min only) nice beach just over the street. My personal opinion: beach resort rather expensive 50 Euro per unit
Grand Hotel Villa Balbi is located in the historical paret of the city. Very nice staff! Beakfast in the garden is a must!! The best beach is the public beach in the bay located in the old historical part of Sestri Levante. Hikes in the hills are recommended.
